Hahahaha on lava's request, im gonna update! :)

Anyway, last night I made a decision to let someone know sth --- sth which I kept it from her for months, not knowing whether to tell her or not because it will not only affect her, but some others around me whom I cared for too. Yup so, to cut the long story short, I think she kinda got angry that I didnt tell her earlier, so I spent the whole night thinking about whether I should have told her from the start (that action might possibly hurt another friend though :/)

Felt super upset last night. Was in the midst of doing PW but couldnt concentrate at all, sorry yantyng, for leaving you to finish up the interview qns by yourself ): Anyway I needed someone to talk to, but I didnt know who to, because it all happened suddenly, and so I ranted a bit on Twitter. Thanks xinyi, linn and jingxuan for your concern (: Yup and Teunyee asked me what happened through FB msg, and I couldnt take it anymore even though I didnt want to let so many people know about it, so I just told him the whole story. Thanks for your advice teunyee, really helped a lot and really appreciated it (:

And after that, lava asked me on msn too haha ((: thanks lava^^ she was super spot-on about what had happened, scared me for a moment haha. and yeah I told her everything too (ditched PW for a while haha) and we began to talk about life in general, catching up with stuff that happened in each other's life :D hahha HTHT Best Buds Ever (L) hahaha I'm so glad that you're in my og lava :) rmb the good times during orientation when I hung out with you, going to the canteen, and on the way you told me that the girls in our og seem very bonded? hahaha I think that's YOU AND ME HAHAHA ;) thanks for being there all the time, GO STUDY FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT EXAMMMM hahaha

Havent blogged in ages~

Yay school hols is here! Gonna start studying, no more slacking, and I really promise myself that (Y)

The last few weeks of school was just busying with guitar concert "Espiritu - As Music Takes Flight" and GPP. I really enjoyed our concert :) Though we did screw up some parts, I know most of us had enjoyed it a lot, and I do miss it! Especially the days we stayed back to 9-10plus to practise at the quiet alley in school. I'm so glad it didnt turn out super badly on stage, and we did Haolin proud at least :) Thanks so much Haolin, for placing so much faith in us, for guiding us through the few months, helping us learn so much, and for taking the blame when Mr Gaspar scolded us :( Junior ensemble really appreciated it! (haha but you probably wont see this anyway:P)

And then there was PW to rush every single weekend. After PI, GPP was something that we had to toil over. Im so glad that even though there were times when I couldn't take it anymore, when I almost gave in to stress and was angsting over some people, my classmates were there to encourage me. And I realised that my group probably isn't the worst group ever, in fact, I am super grateful for people like Jing Xuan and Yan Tyng, who are willing to stay up with me till we complete everything that we are supposed to, even though they probably required much more sleep than I do. Thanks a lot guys! #printy (L)

Haha then there was GP exam to study for. Hope I did well, really praying hard! Okay I shall not slack anymore after today. I promise. Slap me if I dont work hard. (Y)

Then there was CO concert on the last day of school :D Xinyi, Joy, Kahwei, Teunyee, Jingxuan, Zijian, Tianzhao, Yantyng and I went to support Jiahui! After sitting through that 2.5hours of CO music, I dare say they really really do deserve the Gold With Honours :D Well done Jiahui!!! (haha it was a night of screaming and shouting to cheer her on, thanks to Teunyee suggesting to shout everytime we see her appearing)

Had SL on Friday and watched POTC :D Jack Sparrows is really funny haha I love Johnny Depp's acting. Ultimate gayness~

Went back to RGS yesterday to crash their Unit Camp along with Potato, Chenyan, Melia, Andrea, Xynyee and Meijun :D haha we stayed over, watched some movies and lepaked haha I NEED TO CATCH UP ON MY SLEEP ;(

Anyway, got to go to school for GPP Consult tomorrow, and only Jingxuan Shiqi and I can make it. Omg. It'll be really awkward with mr koh since there's only 3 of us ;( SIGH. and only jingxuan and I can make it for GPP discussion tonight. SIGH. what happened to the rest of the group????!?!!!!

Last Monday (11 April)

PW groupings were released! Hahah same group as Sham, Shiqi, Jing xuan and Yan tyng yay we're gonna be awesome tgt :)

Last Tuesday (12 April)

Haha it was my first time going for Free Cone day! went with class and we took the chance to "celebrate" zijian's bday haha :) anyway, vanilla icecream was yummy!!! even though i wanted strawberry cheesecake cos we queued for 1 hour, but still, it was better than nothing :) Haha we went to Thai Express for dinner and I ordered some super spicy Tom Yum fried rice by mistake:( it was quite terrible hehh. After dinner, we went for Bandplay! Danial acted super well hahah i never knew this side of him existed :D

Last Thursday (14 April)

Haha had our first PW meeting to discuss Team charter :) after that me, Yux and Yan Tyng went with Sham to Fat Pipe to get her ball! it was raining super heavily and we were all superrrr drenched!!! our shoes were soaking wet and dripping with water heh. took 1 whole hour to dry my skirt haha

Last Friday (15 April)

Went to get Regina's bday gift!!! :) we were all undecided of what to get haha wasted quite a bit of time there heheh

I know I shouldnt be wasting time here, but........ OKAY A SHORT POST :)

Haha ytd was really awesomez :)

Left house at 7.30am and got a text from Chengyuen shortly after, saying that he reached alr and why I was late! Haha I was so confused cos we set the meeting time to be 8.30am (and half-suspecting it was an April Fool's joke), but nevertheless, I hurried and rushed to the MRT station. Haha then I realised I was scammed :/

Anyway, met him, Joel, Xin Yi, Kahwei and Shiqi at Serangoon MRT station before heading over to Jieru's house. It was quite near but we didnt know, and took a bus ;O

Anyway, after reaching, we met up with those who slept over at her house, namely Linn, Hannah, Sher, Tian Zhao, Jing Xuan, Yu Xuan, Zi Jian, Teun Yee and Yan Tyng (sorry if I missed out anyone). Yup, we just hung around her house playing Guitar Hero and card games until Joy came, and everyone left for lunch at Nex :)

After lunch, Kah Wei, Yan Tyng, Xin Yi, Shi Qi and Chengyuen left, and the rest of us made our way to Zi Jian's house. His condo is totally like a resort! (Y) Anyway, that's not the point, hahah his dog is really cute but sadly, it bites, haha. I was quite freaked out!!!

Yup, we hung around his house and played Slap Jack, the pig game etc for a while, then everyone just laid around and some slept. Haha it was a boring afternoon but still, (L)!!!

After that we left his house and went to Manhatten Fish Market for the $3.99 dinner :D it was nice, but there were too many fries!!! haha then we had our "tea" party (of gongcha) and we rushed back to school for All In the Name of Art :)

Yup, after the concert, they wanted to go lepak in RI's rugby field so we went there to enjoy the breeze. I could only stay for a while, so me, Sham and Xin Yi left shortly after :(

Haha when we walked to the gate in RI, it was locked, TO OUR HORROR :/ As we were comtemplating whether to walk back to RJ, which would really take a LOTTT of time, Yu Xuan and Jing Xuan came and they helped us to get out :D haha shan't say how, cos the internet isnt very safeeeee :)

Wow it's been more than a week since I last posted!

Lots of things have been going on since the last time, but thankfully most are resolved already :) Really glad that there are so many people that I can confide in, like Christine (hope your issues get resolved too!) and Jia Hui! (L)

And of course many many others who talk to me and offer me advice on things in life :)

Anyway, hopefully life's on the right track. I need to focus and start doing my tutorials and handing them up on time.

Every week's gonna be busy when PW comes in full blast. Hope I wont be half dead by then!!!

Haha class outing was really awesomez.

Attendance was near perfect! 23 out of 28 people came! :)

And yup, met half the class at 11am at Kovan and we went to have brunch and play LAN! Haha never knew Counterstrike could be so fun! At first I kept dying 'cause Yan Tyng, YuX and Linn kept killing me): BUT hahaha things took a turn for the better when YuX was on my team hahaha :D I actually managed to get the most number of kills for the last round WOW haha it's easier to play when there arent ppl sneaking up behind you to shoot you ;)

Haha hmmmm after Lan we went to shop at NTUC for BBQ stuffz and the cost only totalled up to $57 excluding utensils and marinating sauce! :D After that we made our way to Jia Hui's condo and some of them started BBQing while the rest played bball. I played frisbee with Joie and injured my third finger): haha but it was fun lah :)

Then we had awesomez BBQed food cooked by Xin Yi and Yan Tyng haha seriously, the food was really nice! (Y) Best food from all the BBQs I went to so far :)

And Xin Yi fed the sausages to this random cat which kept meowing at me. Haha the cat "high-fived" her and I screamed, thinking that it was gonna claw at her hehhhh and the cat ran away after that HAHA. At first I was trying to shoo it away but no matter how I meowed it didnt want to go away.

Anyway, after eating, the entire class played bball from 7-8pm haha it was fun :) Chengyuen was really super wet haha I bumped into him and my arm got wet too...

Yup after that we went to the playground and some people just lepaked while others played cards. Jia Hui, Zi Jian, Sherry, Jing Xuan and I played Ice & Water for a while and then we played other random games like scissors paper stone and laoyingzhuaxiaoji haha.

Hmmmmm after that it was just discussion about class tee and I had to go alr :( thanks so much Teun Yee, YuX, Linn and Zi Jian for going home tgt (:

Hmmmm

Ytd lava told me jokingly that i've changed alr --- that I don't go up to her when she waves at me and I just continue playing games with my classmates.

Even though she was just kidding around, it really made me reflect. Is it still og > class to me, or has it already become og = class?

I rmb Christine saying this after class camp: I'm starting to like my class more and I'm trying to slowly let go of my og, because if I dont, I will keep comparing my og with my class, and I'll never fit in with the class like everyone else does.

Well, I think she does make sense in a way, but after we've been through so much as an og, I really cannot and dont want to let go of it ): but yes, I do see her point, so I'm trying hard to balance og and class in my life. It's really hard though.

There was one day I was just talking to Priyanka during camp and she asked me which I would choose -- og or class? And I told her, sometimes og > class and sometimes class > og.

That does sound like a perfect answer doesnt it? But it's really really super hard to prioritise which comes first in different situations. Take last Wednesday's lunch for example, my class wanted to have class lunch and my og wanted og lunch.

When I told my classmates that I'll be having lunch with my og, they said "whole day og og og, fine lah pangseh our class!" and so I kind of offended them. Trying to make up for that, I tried to hang around the class table for a while before going to buy food and sit with my og.

BUT. My og saw me hanging around the class table and thought I was gonna pangseh them for my class and gave me weird stares when they walked past.

Like, seriously, it's really hard yknow. I cant split myself into two, and I would very much like to join both groups of people. So really, pls forgive me if I cant join either group for whatever reason.

I will never give up my og. I can promise that. But sometimes I really can't meet up with yall too much 'cause of my mum (D:) and also cause I need to make time for others also. So pls dont blame me if I dont stay back after school or if I dont join yall once or twice for lunch okay.

So, the first few weeks of term 1 was JIP. It doesnt seem like too long ago when I was still strolling along the corridors leading to the PAC with all the oorahs, and always chope-ing rows D and E for them (:

Well, time really flies. After JIP was orientation which i wasnt looking forward to initially. The first few days of orientation I felt so awkward, but I guessed all the dinners with fellow ogmates really helped me open up, and i'm glad that we're all rather close now (:

Then, there was class allocation which I wasnt looking forward to too, since I'd already bonded so well with my og. Initially I disliked my class a lot, always feeling that it can never be compared to 15. There icebreakers we played made it worse cos they never seem to work out well and for the first week of proper lessons, I always escaped to find my og whenever I can.

The time spent with og made us even closer, esp during the time of CCA trials when we just stayed back so late everyday to play frisbee and HTHT.

Then school got busier. When CCA started proper, we couldnt really meet up much. but im thankful we're still there for one another (:

Anyway, as I started spending more time with my classmates, I realised that my class is really made up of really really really awesomez and nice people. And yup, I started to like my class more and more (:

Initially I thought my class was just some mugger class, but nope, we really arent. I think Iphone apps really help a lot in class bonding haha. Trying to outdo one another in Hen House really helps to forge closer bonds!

And not to mention, the time spent together during class camp, no matter how little, still helped. I find that it's getting less and less awkward to initiate conversations with my classmates already, which is good (:

I like how we always sit together during class lunch and just start a Hen House craze, or go to the library with the intention to mug, but end up sleeping or playing Hen House. Haha, we're such slackers.

But yes, I'm glad that I've become closer to many people already.Well, not the kind of close (we dont HTHT), but at least we can still talk.

Anyway, even though I cant say that class camp was really smashing (cause we didnt do much and it was plenty of time for stoning), I think I had fun during the night when we talked about ghost stories and freaked out on the way to the toilet! Haha it wasnt exactly the funnest camp i've been to, but to be honest, I really quite enjoyed it :)

Haha, the only regret I have was to have wasted so much time stoning at night instead of HTHTing!

But nevertheless, yay! Even though I lost the bet with Yuxuan that I wont fall asleep before him, I managed to stay up till 5am haha and that was only because they told me they were going to sleep alr!!!

It's alright anyway, one favour only, no big deal haha :)

Hope to bond with the class even better throughout the 2 years! Class camp didnt really do much O; It's still pretty awkwardddd.

Okay so, the last blog post has actually become invalid. My blog is no longer a secret, all thanks to Simon Poh. But it's okay, I don't blog like Ben Tan so there's nothing much to hide haha.

I was reading my previous blog posts and came across one I posted during Options period. Haha it brings back lots of memories. I wrote that "in two months I would be in a completely different envt" and I didnt want to come to RJ.

But come to think of it now, I'm glad to have come to RJ. Of course, there are bound to be not-so-nice people, but really, I'm super thankful to have bonded with my OG :) It's something I've never expected that will happen. To think I actually didn't want orientation to take place at all, now i'm hoping that orientation will never end.

JC is really stressful! Especially the mountain of work that keeps piling up. Teachers give tutorials after tutorials, and Chem alone is enough to kill you.

But yes, I'm glad that even though my class has super duper smart and mugger kids, they're still generally nice people :) Hope to bond with them better through CLASS CAMP. I hope it'll be good ):

Back here after so many months and I realised I didnt even finish up my last post.

My blog is officially dead, like me.

So much work to do and issues to ponder about.

My mind is gonna burst soon.

I think I procrastinate a lot, and really, half the time when I'm doing work, I'm actually thinking about something else. Distractions. Sigh.

I was gonna write "life sucks" but I guess not, there are many more out there in the world stuck in a predicament worse than mine and since they're not complaining, I shan't too.

At least I've still got friends -

I really missed Singapore a lot during my stay in Vietnam. Okay, well, it was enjoyable for most parts, but the food arent really edible (for me, at least).

Okay this long (diary) post will be quite boring....

Day one;

We woke up at 4+ in the morning to get ready,got to the airport at 7 and my relatives were there already. it was really hard to get a cab, if you're wondering why we took so long.. :( hmmm the plane departed at 8 and we reached Hanoi (capital of Vietnam) at 11.55am according to Singapore's time. The local time was one hour faster so technically we reached at 10.55am :) the 3 hours plus flight was really quite hard to endure hahaha most of the time i was just trying to force myself to sleep!

When we got there we were picked by the hotel staff using a mini van. The next 45 min was just zooming past the city and it was really quite eye-opening. The traffic there is really beyond what you can imagine, having lived in such a safe and clean city. motorcycles just zoom past everywhere. There are hardly any traffic lights, and even if there are, only the cars stop. The motorcycles dont.

So anyway, we checked in in the afternoon and went for lunch at a 'Newton Food Centre"-lookalike hawker centre. There was a wide variety of food but seriously, THE FOOD ISNT REALLY EDIBLE. except for the french bread. and probably the fried chicken. (my brother told me fried chicken tastes the same everywhere) Okay so anyway, after the unpleasant lunch, we went back to the hotel and washed up and then went for dinner as well as a walk around the Ho Kiem lake. That's about it.

After that, we waited for my other aunt and cousins who came by another flight :)

Day 2;

YES, the day everyone was looking forward to!

After breakfast, we took a 3hour ride in a small minivan to Tuan Chau island where the ships are located! PARADISE CRUISE IS REALLY AWESOME :)))))))))) not the kind of 'virgo" or whatever cruiseships where there are karaoke lounges and swimming pools on the deck though. Nevertheless, it was the best cruise ship one can get to take in the Halong Bay. The halong Bay is kinda like a lake, or sth like that, so the ship cant really be THAT BIG right? :)

yup we had a great day going out in a smaller boat to explore limestone caves with stalactites and staglamites (bleh idk how to spell :P) and then here comes the fun part!!!!!!!!!!!!! my bro, cousin and I decided to go explore one part of the bay in a KAYAK. the adults went in a vietnamese boat. haha the kayak could only fit two people but the three of us went tgt and I sat in between them. It was fun originally...... then my cousin kept hitting the back of my head accidentally with his paddle........ so i tucked in my head while on the kayak telling them to go "left right left right left ri........"

AND THEN. one moment the kayak was shaking like nobody's business in the middle of the lake (ocean or rather, lookalike) and then the next moment, I saw the kayak flipped to its side. i was like, oh shit, and then i knew it. BSSSSHHHHHHH. we fell into the COLD water. bleah. it was really very very very cold. The instant I came in contact with the water I regretted joining them to kayak. okay well, i have to admit that i was the one who suggested the idea of kayaking ._.

anyway, my cousin, having gotten his one star kayak cert, could flip the kayak over. thank goodness he could if not we'd be in deep shit :( haha when we capsized his slippers floated to my face and when i caught it for him mine drifted away and my bro swam to help me retrieve it. lol i was busy clinging on to the side of the kayak. and then my cousin climbed in first, followed by my bro, and then me. sounds effortless right? but it isnt, and you'll know it if you've tried capsizing before in OBS.

okay after that I gave up kayaking and went to join my family and relatives in the vietnamese boat. i was freezing then haha the dip in the water chilled me to the bones.

k then we had dinner and the smoked salmon they offered was really,...... gross. haha.

day3;

climbed 450steps up to take photos. it wasnt a hike. it was seriously just a climb. 450 steps of steep rocky stairs.. how nice is it!!!!???!!! O;

then we left the cruise in the mid-morning and begun the 3h ride back to hhanoi.

BLAH.... shall cut short the boring stuff. hmm okay then at night we took the overnight 8h train to Sapa, a mountainous region in north Vietnam.

Havent blogged in a long long time.

I just finished reading somebody's blog. Well, it just made me feel more insignificant than ever, just like I've lost a friend. Perhaps we were already very different to begin with; perhaps it was that we have lost touch over the years.. talking to her made me feel like talking to a complete stranger. it's so sad isnt it, to feel this way when that someone used to be your close confidant.

well, i guess this is how people grow distant. the sense of awkwardness simply compells you to shy away from the person. i dont know what to do to salvage the situation. its probably because both of us have changed, greatly, and we dont understand each other anymore. it's probably because both of us are seeking for different things/ goals in life, and we no longer have common topics to talk about. it's probably because she has made friends who are more worthy and share more commmon experiences with, thateverything else in the background fades away.

life is just like that isnt it.

sometimes i just wish that i hadnt known her at all. maybe that would make it better. much much better.

because to know that you've lost somebody who had once held a special place in your heart is heartbreaking;

and that's it: another best friend gone. forever.

Im vvvvv excited about the plan for CL camp :) shant divulge much here though! it'll be the last NP memory we'll share tgt, and hopefully, everything will turn out fine.

Cant wait!

and I'm looking forward to netball carn too :) saying that i wont be disappointed if we dont win will totally be a lie, but yeah, i guess what matters most is that it is the last net carn of my entire RG life and that to have won last year was already a blessing, and well, surprise. what I like about netcarn is how we always scream when someone scores a goal, run around and cheer for our class....

good things never last. it feels like i've just entered RG and wow, 4 years have come by and passed. in a few months' time, i'll be in a different sch - a totally new envt.

i guess i AM resistant to change in this sense. it's like i have finally gotten used to RG life and TADA, new school again. i really miss the sec 4 teachers ): now that there arent any more lessons with them, it ALREADY feels as though i am no longer part of this school.

haha i know im not making sense.

i miss normal lessons; okay this must sound funny, but i'd rather have normal lessons so that we can spend more time as a class, instead of spending the last few weeks of your life in RG with people you dont know that few (with the exception of one or two).

i mean, you're already going to be separated from your class for 2 years in a few weeks' time so why not let us spend the remaining time tgt? ):

it's already beginning to feel different. dounch know if you get what im trying to say, but ever since options started, i felt as though the atmosphere changed. i feel quite "distant" from some people ):

GOKUSEN!!!

Best jap show ever.

Seriously.

The jap shows I ever complimented last time were either FUNNY, or TOUCHING. But wow! Gokusen is a combination of both! It's really so awesome! But I shant watch Gokusen 2 and 3 because most of the cast will be different ): it'll spoil everything.

Okay, what made the show so good was firstly, the teacher Yankumi (of course rightttt) haha. but another thing I watched the show for was the funny student population! Without them, how would the show be nice! Esp Shin, Uchi, Kuma and the rest. They're really so funny sometimes.

But sigh, why is the show so short? ): 12 episodes aint enough.

Why am I taking O levels for Jap?

I can't stand this anymore!

Jap lessons are such a torture :(

Everytime I step into the campus ground, I picture myself going home. The things we do in class really make me feel so sick of third lang. I really feel like just chucking jap aside and not going for lessons. But I cant. Im taking Os.

Ughh. Seriously, :(

And I'm very disappointed in someone. I know it's not a big issue, but I feel so cheated somehow. If you're not sure about sth, plz dont make promises or confirmations. Now you're turning your back on me and you make it sound like my fault ._.
